Miron Violetglass produces and distributes a unique range of glass packaging. Our trademarked “biophotonic” violet glass is specially made for natural products in the beauty, personal health and food & drinks industries. Violet glass is created at our two European facilities, by combining the latest cutting-edge production techniques with the best of centuries-old glass blowing traditions. All our products are shipped from our own logistics centre in Hoogeveen, the Netherlands. Except in the North American and Australian markets, where our distributors serve the customers directly.

As a Sourcing & Procurement Coordinator, you are the driving force behind the development and procurement of new glass products and (especially) matching accessories for our brands Miron and Calaso. In this versatile role, you work on a sustainable, future-oriented, and commercially strong product range, constantly responding to trends and market developments.
You play a key role in leading NPD projects: from trend research, supplier selection, and price negotiations to technical specifications, initial purchase orders, and successful implementation of new items. After the initial launch, you transfer the project to the Commercial Operations team. Additionally, you are responsible for maintaining strong supplier relationships, managing contracts, and establishing clear agreements regarding lead times, MOQs, and other master data.
Assortment Management (together with Sales)
• Analyse and optimize the existing product range
• Initiate innovations and follow up on customer requests
• Identify trends and develop new products
• Manage the sample room and perform sustainability assessments
Supplier Management
• Build and maintain sustainable relationships
• Select suitable suppliers and manage molds
• Negotiate prices and finalize purchase contracts
• Define delivery conditions and logistical agreements
Sourcing & NPD
• Lead NPD projects from intake to implementation
• Send and follow up on RFQs
• Manage documentation: datasheets, drawings, material declarations
• Enter and manage item data in ERP (Business Central)
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of initial orders
Requirements and Necessary Skills & Experience
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within procurement, supply chain, or product development
• Education in logistics, procurement, or economics is a plus
• Experience with project-based work and process-oriented thinking
• Knowledge of technical drawings is a plus
• Strong communication skills, customer focus, and commercial awareness
• Proactive and entrepreneurial attitude; you get things done
• Excellent command of Dutch and English; German or a third language is a plus
• Experience with ERP systems (preferably Business Central) and MS Office
• Willingness to visit international suppliers
• Preferably residing in the northern Netherlands
Education Level
• At least a bachelor’s degree or equivalent level of thinking
