In order to realize further growth in the Belgian and Dutch market, we are looking for a results-driven, Belgium based, Key Account Manager.

Created in 1947 by Pierre Jallatte, the inventor of the European concept of safety footwear that he had discovered in the United States, the Jallatte® company has been based since its foundation in the Gardoise commune of Saint-Hippolyte-du-Fort, sheltered in a 17th century fort of VAUBAN inspiration, which four centuries later became the historic site of Jallatte®.

For more than 70 years, Jallatte® has positioned itself as a leader in the safety footwear market, focusing on innovation and research into technical performance, in order to guarantee the protection of people at work, preserve their health and improve their well-being.

Today, design efforts are focused on preventing the risks of MSDs, musculoskeletal disorders, thanks to innovative materials and new multi-density sole technologies that are the subject of international patents.

Functieomschrijving

  • Development of national and/or regional distributors.
  • Make sure our product portfolio is listed by our key accounts.
  • Negotiate, monitor and deploy the commercial and service contracts.
  • Participate in annual contractual negotiations.
  • Provide advice, product selections and pricing assistance adapted to the commitment.
  • Conduct training in products, provide technical assistance and recommendations.
  • Participate in activities and communication.
  • Obtain and analyse reports and statistics on sales, sell-out.
  • Check the proper use of promotional tools (web, punch-out, catalogues, prices, discounts, etc.).
  • Collect and transmit market information collected in the field and be engaged in gathering competitive intelligence.
  • You generate ideas useful for operational marketing purposes.
  • Develop turnover in one or more market segments by referencing Jallatte & Aimont products (non-exhaustive brands) to (large) endusers.
  • Qualify and quantify potential by targeting end customers on assigned segments (non-exhaustive list).
  • Be the preferred contact for the responsible Health & Safety officers at enduser level.
  • Be the preferred contact for purchasing at enduser level.
  • Provide recommendations, advice and responses to product specifications.
  • Respond to calls for tenders, present & support commercial proposals during referencing committees.
  • Negotiate rates in close collaboration with the sales representatives and key account units of the distributors referenced by the end customer & deploy the commercial contract in France and Europe with the European project manager(s) and export manager(s).
  • Conduct product training and provide technical assistance.
  • Participate in sales and communication events.

 

 

profiel kandidaat

  • You have 3-5 years of experience in the field of activity.
  • Knowledge and monitoring of ISO standards related to PPE.
  • English, Dutch and French are mandatory.
  • You are familiar working with tools such as Office pack, web, Teams, SalesForce.
  • You posses excellent interpersonal skills, you have winning mentality, good negotiation skills, you are rigorous and feel comfortable working autonomously.
