F Engel is expanding its business throughout the whole of Europe. For the Belgian market Engel Workwear is looking for a result-driven brand ambassador with a keen eye for developing long-term sustainable relationships.

Company description

A family-owned business since 1927, F. ENGEL has a rich heritage of textile production and a passion for
manufacturing clothing with the right fit to suit all occasions. This is delivered by its three core brands: ENGEL,
SUNWILL and DEERHUNTER.

It all began in Haderslev with a single trimming at the dining table of the ready-to-wear merchant Fredrich Engel and
his wife Louise. Their son, Carl J. Engel returned home from the USA with a pair of denim overalls; a material that
was unknown at the time. Their innovative son had seen that all construction workers in the United States wore
denim overalls and he began producing workwear made from this strong material immediately after his trip. In
collaboration with his brother Jacob, who was given responsibility for the finances and his father, Friedrich Engel, as
the owner, a family business was born. This marked the beginning of one of Denmark’s first manufacturers of
workwear – ENGEL.

Our mission is simple. We dress our customers well in clothes that last, by designing contemporary, comfortable and
functional clothing. Our decades of knowledge and expertise stretches back to 1927, enabling us to deliver functional
designs with a focus on fit and comfort, for all clothing we produce.

Job description

Your tasks of this exciting role will consist of maintaining and developing the cooperation with our present dealers
and to ensure a continuous incoming flow of new customers. Other responsibilities are:

  • To visit existing dealers on a regular basis.
  • To ensure that all the dealers know and are familiar with our products
  • Introducing news and campaigns to dealers
  • Participating in meetings with dealers and their customers
  • Preparation of special offers
  • Ensuring that the CRM system ALWAYS is updated
  • Finding new dealers and ensuring that they have the best possible start-up.
    – Making agreements with new dealers
    – Ensuring that our products are being displayed in the best possible way in the stores.
    – Ensuring that customer employees are trained in the products.
  • Participating in sales meetings, at fairs and exhibitions.
  • Preparation of own budget.
  • Keeping yourself updated and trained in our products

Candidate profile

  • You are a positive and openminded person, who is dedicated and highly motivated.
  • You have experience with the market our dealers are working on – from other product groups.
  • Knowledge about the textile industry would be an advantage.
  • We value strong communication skills and being structured.
  • You are service minded
  • Skilled in MS Office, CRM etc.
  • You are living in Belgium
  • You are able to communicate in English, which is the company language.
